I had not heard of FlavCity before Social Nature. Medium Roast tastes like real unsweetened coffee, not a chalky mix. I like the clean ingredients, single-serve packets, and how easy it is to stir into hot or cold water with no machine. The 6g of protein from grass-fed collagen, 100mg of caffeine, L-theanine, and MCT oil are why I tried it. Compared with store-brand, Folgers-style, premium ground, and other functional coffees I buy, this is easier and more convenient to prepare. I will buy it again about once a month and want to try their protein smoothie powders, electrolyte mixes, and vitamin gel packs.

FlavCity Cafe' Coffee with Benefits delightedly surprised me with it's creaminess, and I could genuinely taste the subtle mocha notes. I was also impressed that it quickly dissolved in the hot water. It still tastes like instant coffee, though admittedly a step above the typical instant cup. Loved the easy-to-carry packets, great for travel or office days, and the 6g of protein, L-theanine, collagen, and prebiotic fiber add real value. Especially when on-the-go and you need that extra oomph from the MCT oil for energy. Not for daily use for me, but a perfect go-to when you're on the go.

This really surprised me, especially since collagen was the number one ingredient. I thought this made a delicious cup of coffee. In fact, I went back the next day and purchased a large size box. It is definitely pricey; however, I only have a cup of coffee every few days anyway, so it is worth it. I also appreciate the benefits of the collagen, and I certainly appreciate the ingredients that cause less jitteriness from caffeine.

This was convenient to have on hand. It was a good amount of powder as well, so the flavor was at the forefront. I was worried it might be weak or watery, but it was fine. I would stick to 6-7oz of liquid (I used milk). I also like that you can use it cold or hot (I tried it iced). Cinnamon is not too overpowering. You can easily adjust it to fit your taste. I did add a bit of cold foam on top and it was the perfect fall drink.

I enjoyed the mental benefits and I do think it was calming, but I rated the taste only about a "B". It was slightly bitter, but I did add some Laird creamer powder to it, so it was a bit more mellow. Very convenient packaging that likely increases the freshness. I used it soon after buying it though, so I didn't have to worry about waning freshness. I didn't really need all the protein that was in it either.

I actually really enjoyed this. I was skeptical as to if an instant version with collagen would taste good, and I was pleasantly surprised. It was fast and easy to prepare, had a smooth taste, and didn't have that strange instant coffee taste that I was expecting (and do not like). I really love that I can get my coffee and collagen together without adding an extra step to my already busy mornings.

Opened packet and immediately got a big whiff of cinnamon. Pouring it into the mug, it looked like cinnamon sugar to bake with, not instant coffee. Once brewed, the aroma changed to a muted cinnamon, with instant coffee notes. There was also some other scent, not totally known or describable. The color of this coffee was akin to usual instant coffee, but when stirred and on the spoon, it was beef broth color. The taste was sharp with the cinnamon and there was a weird aftertaste, much like the smell. This was before any type of creamer or sugar was added. Putting in only creamer, the color remained slightly dark; only lightened a little bit. It did brighten the cinnamon, but not by much. The weird aftertaste disappeared to an extent, so it was slightly there. Constantly needing to keep stirring the coffee, it still felt gritty when drinking, like all the granules didn't dissolve when first brewed.
